Quality Management

ICMPD decided in 2009 to introduce a quality management system (QMS) based on ISO standards. With the substantial growth of the organisation in the years prior to the launch, clear structures and procedures, as well as increased documentation, had become a necessity. Furthermore, ICMPD views itself as a learning organisation aiming to continuously improve its services.

The ICMPD Quality Management System was launched in October 2011 and ICMPD is proud to be ISO 9001:2008 certified since September 2012.  This was only possible with the strong commitment of all staff members.

The ICMPD Quality Policy provides the overall framework for this system and emphasises the importance attributed to the expectations of the various internal and external customers of ICMPD's services. In order to guarantee consistency and continuity in our provision of high-quality services, we have put in place processes and procedures that regulate our work and determine the interactions between them.

The QMS undergoes continuous review and improvement based on regular process reviews and audits, lessons learned gathered through our Monitoring & Evaluation Framework, as well as feedback received from customers and staff alike. Mission Statement
