Officials and Practitioners Gather in Ankara to Discuss Anti-Human Trafficking Legislation
More than 50 experts from government institutions, national agencies, NGOs and IOs gathered together on 5 February 2012 in a workshop organised by the ICMPD Competence Centre for Trafficking in Human Beings to discuss the draft framework law on counter trafficking and the protection of victims.

EaP Officers Learn about Combating THB
31 representatives from border guard, police and labour inspections from all the six EaP countries participated in the second trafficking in human beings (THB) training, which took place in Kiev, Ukraine, on 28 - 30 January 2013. The workshop is part of the Eastern Partnership - IBM Flagship Initiative Training Project (EaP IBM FIT).

Senior Officials Meet in Ankara for 2nd Preparatory Meeting for the 5th Budapest Process Ministerial Conference
The Second Preparatory Meeting for the 5th Budapest Process Ministerial Conference "A Silk Routes Partnership for Migration" was held in Ankara, Turkey, on 10 - 11 December 2012. The meeting gathered 81 participants from 38 countries, the European Commission, as well as 7 agencies and international organisations.
