ETMA Project Workshop Addresses Legal Migration and Mobility Challenges in Tunisia

The ICMPD-Tunis office will organise a 2-day workshop on 5 and 6 February 2013 in Tunis that will address issues related to legal migration and mobility jointly with relevant authorities of the Republic of Tunisia. The workshop is part of the project "EU-Tunisia Migration Cooperation Agenda" (ETMA), financed by the European Union and implemented by ICMPD. This event will allow participants to share and exchange experience among Tunisian and European colleagues with a view to concretely addressing challenges that Tunisia is currently facing in these areas.

ETMA Project Holds Workshop on Return and Reintegration

In the framework of the Project "EU-Tunisia Migration Cooperation Agenda" (ETMA), financed by the European Union and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), the ICMPD-Tunis office, jointly with relevant authorities of the Republic of Tunisia, will hold a 2-day workshop on 12 and 13 December 2012 in Tunis that will address issues related to the return and reintegration of migrants.

The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Becomes 15th ICMPD Member State

Skopje, 2 May 2012 — The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia became the fifteenth Member State of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) today at the signing ceremony in Skopje. Ms. Gordana Jankuloska, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Mr. Peter Widermann, Director General of ICMPD, signed the agreement for the country to become a member of ICMPD on behalf of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and ICMPD, respectively.
