Expert Seminar "Stepping Up the Fight Against Trafficking for Labour Exploitation" held in Vienna
On 3-4 June 2013, ICMPD held the Expert Seminar "Stepping Up the Fight Against Trafficking for Labour Exploitation". The event, which took place in the Museum of Young Art (MOYA) in Vienna, successfully concluded the implementation of the project "Capacity Building for Combating Trafficking for Labour Exploitation".

GOVAC project comes to a close
On Friday, 24 May 2013, the Final Conference of the project "Building Training and Analytical Capacities on Migration in Moldova and Georgia (GOVAC)" took place in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event provided a unique opportunity to discuss the project's results and migration-related issues such as migration training and education, migration and development, the social value of migration and the role of the media in informing civil society about migration processes.

Document security and profiling are in focus
On 20–22 May 2013, 36 border guards from Belarus and Ukraine gathered together for the regional workshop on document security and profiling. The workshop was organised by ICMPD's Competence Centre for Border Management and Visa under the EU-funded project "Strengthening the surveillance capacity on the green and blue border between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine (SURCAP)".

ICMPD announces call for exeprts
ICMPD invites local and international experts to submit their CV to create an expert pool for the project "Support the Euro-African Dialogue on Migration and Development" (Rabat Process). Experts who wish to be included in the expert pool are requested to submit their CV by post or by email by 30 August 2013.
