Summary

Objective: The project "TELAE/Extended Effort" was the continuation of the TELAE project (implemented from 1 October 2010 until 30 September 2011). It aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Lebanese authorities to develop and implement a comprehensive anti-trafficking response, particularly for relevant anti-trafficking stakeholders to identify, protect and refer (potential) victims of trafficking more effectively, as well as to ensure consistent involvement of NGOs in the identification and referral process. Furthermore, the extended effort fostered multi-agency cooperation through the elaboration of a draft of the National Action Plan.
