The SUPPORT PMM Project held nine training sessions on Outreach and Community Engagement for Upscaling Türkiye’s National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (NAVRR) Mechanism in Ankara, between 12-22 December 2022.
120 employees of the Foreigners Communication Centre (YIMER 157) of the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM) took part in the training sessions. Specifically, the training targeted the staff of the Foreigners Communication Centre, which serves as the primary point of information, including a hotline, for the migrant communities in Türkiye.
The trainings were facilitated by ICMPD, through contributions made by PMM on the national mechanism, and Turkish Red Crescent on their role and different assistances provided through the mechanism. The training was held under ICMPD’s Support Capacities of the Presidency of Migration Management (SUPPORT PMM Project), funded by the Federal Republic of Germany, in cooperation with the Presidency of Migration Management.
