The sixth edition of the Vienna Migration Conference (VMC) took place on 19-20 October 2021. It provided an indispensable opportunity for thought leaders, decision-makers and practitioners in the migration sphere to convene, connect and engage in strategic discussions on migration.
More than 150 in person and 1,300 joined the lively discussions on two days. The high-level panellists zoomed in on the situation in Afghanistan and along key migration routes; geopolitical challenges and the instrumentalisation of migrants and refugees; and the fallout of the global pandemic on society and the economy.
Revisit the VMC 2021 in our newly published Conference Report. Finally, we are also happy to look into the future, by announcing the Vienna Migration Conference 2022. We hope to see you six months from now on 11-12 October.
