Summary
The “Border Management in Côte d’Ivoire – Phase 3 (BMCI III)” project, funded by the Swiss Confederation and implemented by ICMPD, aims to consolidate the achievements of the first two phases of BMCI and further strengthen integrated border management in Côte d’Ivoire.
The project supports the implementation of the National Integrated Border Management Policy (PNGIF) by strengthening the operational, institutional and strategic capacities of the Ministry of Interior and Security (MIS), particularly the Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DST) and its Document Fraud Unit (BFD). Key activities include strengthening the capacities of border police officers, developing harmonised operational tools and procedures, and supporting the operationalisation of the PNGIF.
