Overall Objective
To establish a strategic foundation for informed, rights-based legal migration in the Western Balkan region by strengthening knowledge-based evidence, inter-agency coordination and rights-based assistance.
Specific Objectives
- To strengthen understanding of how legal migration regulation operate in practice by building on existing work and initiatives and learning from the lived experiences of workers, employers’, government perspectives, and insights from relevant practitioners.
- To increase institutional capacities and inter-agency coordination and intergovernmental collaboration for effective and integrated migration governance.
- To enhance the protection and well-being of migrant populations by ensuring increased access to integrated outreach, peer support, and professional referral services delivered through specialised NGO partnerships.
