Summary
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the integrity and efficiency of the visa process in Armenia, thereby supporting the EU-Armenia Visa Liberalisation Dialogue. The project contributes directly to Armenia’s preparedness under the EU–Armenia visa liberalisation dialogue by promoting compliance with the Schengen standards and supporting a culture of informed and responsible mobility. By improving the overall quality of visa applications and awareness of applicants’ rights and obligations, the project supports both Armenian citizens and the EU Member State authorities, creating a more transparent, efficient and predictable visa application environment.
The specific objectives of the project are:
- To improve the quality and compliance of Schengen visa applications with the Schengen rules submitted by Armenian citizens and other residents of Armenia through accurate, accessible and trusted information on visa rules and procedures.
- To strengthen the role of key information multipliers in Armenia in promoting responsible, informed and compliant mobility of Armenian citizens to the EU.
