Outreach workshop for Türkiye’s National Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration Programme

On 25-26 July, the project “Supporting the Implementation and further Strengthening of Turkey’s National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration System” (NAVRR) held an expert workshop in Ankara on developing visibility and outreach plans for Türkiye’s National Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration Programme.

The first day of the workshop focused on best practices of Denmark and Belgium Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (FEDASIL) on outreach and awareness of national assisted voluntary return and reintegration programmes. Where the second day focused on Türkiye’s needs and requirements to develop further the national visibility plan and enhance the outreach and awareness of the programme.

The workshop was organised together with the participation of the stakeholders of the NAVRR project, the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and Turkish Red Crescent (TRC).

The activity is held under ICMPD’s Supporting the Implementation and further Strengthening of Turkey’s National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Mechanism Project (NAVRR Project), funded by Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway, implemented by ICMPD in cooperation with the Presidency of Migration Management and Turkish Red Crescent.
