The National Joint Risk Analysis Working Group of the Republic of Moldova convened on 26 May 2026 in Chișinău. The meeting was organised with the support of the Support to Comprehensive Migration and Border Management in Moldova (SCOP) Project, implemented by ICMPD.
The session brought together representatives of the General Inspectorate of Border Police and other national authorities involved in integrated border management. Participants reviewed the current security situation at the state border and discussed ongoing joint operational activities.
A substantial part of the agenda focused on the development of the national joint risk analysis report. Working group members engaged in dedicated sessions to review, draft and further refine the content of key report chapters, fostering a shared understanding of risks and trends.
The meeting also provided a platform to reflect on the role and future development of joint risk analysis structures in supporting Moldova’s Integrated Border Management framework and broader national priorities.
Through continued technical and methodological support, the SCOP Project – funded by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and implemented by ICMPD – contributes to strengthening inter-agency cooperation and enhancing evidence-based decision-making in the field of migration and border management in Moldova.
