This project is jointly implemented in partnership with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and funded by the European Union (EU). It supports regional and national efforts to prevent and combat Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) and to strengthen protection systems for victims, in line with ECOWAS frameworks, EU priorities, and international human rights standards. The action contributes to the operationalisation of the ECOWAS Regional Referral Mechanism (RRM) and reinforces cooperation among ECOWAS Member States in addressing cross-border THB cases.

The projects objective is to improve the cross-sectoral response to Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) across the West Africa region, from the identification and referral of victims of cross-border trafficking to the provision of adequate protection and reintegration services.
