Summary
SIBMAP aims to enhance Lebanon’s management of migration and borders in line with international standards and regional cooperation frameworks, in a rights-based, gender-sensitive and coordinated manner, with a particular focus on the protection of vulnerable migrants. The project strengthens institutional capacity through specialist training, inter-agency coordination, standardised identification, referral and follow-up processes for vulnerable migrants, including victims of trafficking, and support to Gender Units within security agencies.
