Summary

Objective: The objective of the project was to build stronger private-public partnerships in the field of identification and to support child victims who are at risk of being trafficked in Europe. Building on accumulated experience and updated research, the project aimed to increase transnational expertise in the field of identification and in supporting children victims or potential victims of trafficking.

In particular, the project focused on those exploited in begging, illegal activities and forced labour and those recruited through the means of new information technologies, ensuring that a child-rights based approach is applied. The project also contributed to the development of transnational and national co-operative modes between private and public actors in this field, enhancing prevention and children's protection.
