The Outcome of the action is to strengthen Pakistan’s capacity to develop and implement Integrated Border Management policies and practices that are protection- sensitive and gender responsive.

The action will consolidate capacity development efforts by grouping the abovementioned outputs into two components:

  • Component 1: Strategic Integrated Border Management
  • Component 2: Professionalisation and Training

Capacity development activities will be implemented in parallel with the procurement of equipment necessary to contribute to the delivery of expected results.
