Objective:
The overall objective of Link Up! Serbia – Facilitating Diaspora Investments is to assess the business ecosystem for diaspora investments in Serbia by identifying market failures and underutilized investment situations.
As part of this project, a feasibility study was conducted to investigate the link between the Serbian diaspora in Austria and the economic development of Serbia, especially with regards to their economic and entrepreneurial activities. Additionally, it assessed if an ADA-funded programme could incentivise diaspora entrepreneurship and looked at ways in which private sector investments and the transfer of knowledge and capital from the diaspora towards the economic development of Serbia could be boosted.
