Summary
The overall objective of the project is to support the Nigeria Immigration Service in its institutional reform efforts to modernize its Human Resource Management System to increase internal efficiency, productivity, and fairness among its workforce. The project objectives will be achieved by providing technical support to the Nigeria Immigration Service in developing a Career Progression Framework linking staff performance and career advancement; defining job roles based on their complexity and the competencies required to undertake work at various levels. Support will be provided to scale up the Career Management System through an e-learning platform to train more NIS staff on topics requiring less physical interaction and also support the Gender Policy Development as an internal administrative and operational guideline.
